Céline Bodin (*1990 in Louviers, France) studied photography at Gobelins – L’École de l’Image in Paris and at the London College of Communication. She lives and works in London.
Her photographs combine staging and pictorial tradition into enigmatic, painterly scenes. In 2022 her series “The Hunt” was published as a book by Radius Books.
Ralph Goertz met the artist in the exhibition FOTO – KUNST – FOTO. From Julia Margaret Cameron to Thomas Ruff at the Clemens Sels Museum Neuss (27.10.2024–23.02.2025), where her works were shown alongside those of Julia Margaret Cameron, Elger Esser, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Thomas Ruff.
