Olafur Eliasson (*1967 in Copenhagen) is one of the best-known contemporary artists internationally. In his installations he works with light, colour, water and movement, making perception itself the subject.
In 2014 Eliasson created a room installation at K20 for the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen that can be read as moving painting. For the museum’s online magazine, IKS filmed an exclusive conversation between its then director Marion Ackermann and Olafur Eliasson.
